Head of State: BCV estimates economic growth in the first quarter of the year at 4.5% of GDP

This Friday, March 28, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, considered it excellent news that the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) estimates that the trend of the first quarter of 2025 is aimed at consolidating the country's economic growth, which stands “at no less than 4.5% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP)”.

In that regard, he specified that Venezuela is reaching the 16th quarter of continuous economic growth, “we are obliged as the National Economic Council.”

“I ask you brilliant minds, businesswomen, businessmen, ministers, economic scholars and all our people, who have also become economic experts, to keep track of everything we are building so that we can do it better now,” he said.

At the Miraflores Palace, where he led a working day of the National Council for Productive Economy, accompanied by the heads of the 13 Productive Engines, as well as representatives of the country's public and private business sectors, he said that “we are well prepared, you should know, in the forecast for any scenario”.

“And in any scenario and under any circumstance, guarantee production, supply, economic growth and the satisfaction of the needs of our people,” he emphasized.
