The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during a meeting with the Federal Government Council, stressed that while he called for dialogue in the ranks of the opposition, fascist, exclusionary and racist sectors were preparing plans to assassinate him.

“Today the Barbados Accords are mortally wounded, I declare them in intensive care, they were stabbed, kicked. Hopefully we can save the Barbados Accords and push through dialogue great agreements of real national consensus, face to face without hidden letters or macabre plans to assassinate and fill the country with violence,” said the Head of State.

He hoped to achieve agreements based on the greatest amount of tolerance and understanding, reunion and forgiveness among Venezuelans.

“We must work permanently together with the governors, governors, mayors and mayors, to guarantee the highest level of attention to the needs of the people, listening to their criticism and solving their needs; that is the formula for recovering the social welfare state of all Venezuelans,” he stressed.
