Head of State assures that by the end of 2024 Venezuela will exceed 10% of GDP growth

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his Maduro+ program, assured that after learning of the growth of 8.78% of the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2024, Venezuela will close this year with an economic surplus of more than 10%.

“Economically, we are going to exceed the expectations that have been estimated. In Venezuela, the last four months of each year are usually the busiest months of economic activity. I think we are going to exceed 10% of the real economy by 2024,” said the Head of State.

He added that the country's banking sector experienced growth of 21% in the first half of the year while it has committed to providing 300,000 loans to entrepreneurs.

“Adding this figure to what we have projected are one million 300 thousand new ventures. We are then entering the new virtuous economy,” he stressed.
