Head of State appoints Jorge Arreaza as rector of the National University of the Communes

After highlighting the importance of training for Popular Power, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the National University of the Communes is in the final phase of building construction.

In this regard, during the broadcast of his program “With Maduro Live de Repente”, the head of state announced the appointment of Jorge Arreaza as rector of this studio.

“I have appointed Jorge Arreaza as rector of the National University of the Communes, which is about to open, to direct and define careers that maintain the profile of the new communal model and of our Bolivarian Socialism,” he said.

Currently, Arreaza is the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP).
