The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, appointed Ángel Prado as the new Minister of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements.

“A leader who comes precisely from the grassroots, Ángel Prado, that's why I'm going to appoint him as the new minister of the Communes and Social Movements. We are going to restructure everything that needs to be structured, Ángel,” said the head of state from the El Maizal Commune, located in Lara state.

He stressed that the construction of Communal Socialism is one of the tasks that must be fulfilled as part of the legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez.

For his part, Prado stressed that he will work with love and loyalty to build hegemony from territorial development because “we are willing to fight from this trench” to accelerate communal development.

It should be noted that, during the activity, the head of state delivered 410 Trabuco Productivo kits, consisting of inputs, fertilizers, seeds and tools for planting.
