Head of State announces ingot production and delivers a ton of gold to the national reserve

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced on Monday the production of ingots and delivered one ton for the national reserve.

“Venezuela is already making, with the strictest international standards, gold ingots for its national and international reserves, for development with its own gold,” said the Head of State during the closing of Expo Metal 2025 and the launch of the Mining Engine.

From Bolivar state, the Dignitary handed over to the reserve of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) a ton of gold ingots, “made by the Venezuelan mining working class. No one will be able to stop us, because we set out to continue producing gold,” he said.

In this regard, he urged gold investors and artisans “to work within strict ecological preservation measures, gold mining can be developed while preserving, of course you can”.

In this regard, he highlighted the efforts of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) “to defend the protected areas of national parks, rivers, lakes, the Orinoco, the Caroní and all the rivers and lakes.”

The Dignitary recalled that the production of our own gold reserves “was a goal we had a long time ago (...) And we have already taken the appropriate measures and steps. And that's what we're going to do on all the battle fronts,” he emphasized.
