Head of State: Agreements signed between Russia and Venezuela seal an integral and powerful alliance

The agreements “also form a contract, already with investments,” said President Maduro

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that the Agreements signed this Thursday, November 7, framed in the Bilateral Meeting of the XVIII Meeting of the Russia-Venezuela High-Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN), “seal an integral and powerful alliance, giving shape to the development of processes and investments.”

He made the statement from the “General José Antonio Anzoátegui” Olympic Stadium, where he inaugurated the XXI National Sports Games East 2024, where he stressed that this alliance “also gives it the form of a contract, already with investments for oil, more production”.

He also mentioned investments in the gas area, “the activation of gas blocks, for the growth of petrochemistry, in the development of the entire industrial process of machinery for the agricultural sector”.

“These are investments, for the payment in national currency for trade, in rubles and in bolivars for the expansion of tourism, more tourists for all the states of Venezuela that arrive from Russia, a daily flight that will be the destination and more tourism for Venezuelans to go to Russia and discover the beauty of that country,” he explained.

Regarding the issue of the Historical Bloc, the head of state said that “we will talk on Monday in the program (With Maduro+), that we are going to talk about the three fundamental documents that we are going to present on the 15th, at the installation of the Congress of the Historical Bloc”.
