Head of State 14 years after the Timon Coup: Conviction remains intact that power resides in the organized people

Referring to the “Timon Coup”, the historic speech given by Commander Hugo Chávez on October 20, 2012, the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that 14 years after this proposal, the Bolivarian Government maintains intact the conviction that power resides in the organized People.

Through her account on the social network Telegram, the national president stated that “14 years after the Coup de Timón del Cmdte. Hugo Chávez, we keep intact one conviction: power resides in the organized people”.

“We continue to strengthen Popular Power, promote the communal economy and consolidate popular consultations as an expression of participatory and leading democracy,” he said.

He also stated that “with the strength of our communities, communes advance and Venezuela is transformed.”
