The head of Government of the Capital District (GDC), Nahum Fernández, reported on the reopening of the Fire Substation in Parque Central and the inauguration of a dining room for the staff of the Corporation for Construction and Urban Planning Management.

Through his account on the social network X, he pointed out that the works are supported by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, which reflects the commitment to the safety and well-being of workers.

In the message, Fernández published a video, which indicates the renovation of the firefighter sidewalk, which played a vital role during the 2017 fire, including the delivery of an ambulance, a multipurpose vehicle and a motorcycle, as well as additional personnel to improve emergency response capacity.

In this regard, he emphasized that these improvements are part of a larger effort to ensure adequate facilities for firefighters that include rest areas, reception spaces, call answering and infrastructure improvements such as painting and lighting.

This project will be extended to other Fire Stations in Caracas, with similar improvements at the El Valle and Caricuao headquarters, together with the implementation of a fire simulation center in Plaza Venezuela for the professional training of public servants

In addition, in another publication, Fernández reported on the rescue “of 287 young people from the bad life and with anti-values, to be incorporated into the Gideon Labor Brigades. Our teams are training these boys in maintenance tasks in order to modernize and beautify the entire Central Park.”
