- Between February 12 and March 2014, 18,000 violent acts were recorded in different cities in Venezuela, perpetrated by agents of the opposition guarimbas in the context of the call for La Salida.
- These hate crimes left 43 people murdered, economic losses in the order of 15 billion dollars and unquantifiable damage to public facilities, means of transportation, educational units and public health centers.
- The most radical groups of the Venezuelan extreme right showed their most dramatic face in the execution of numerous criminal and vandalism acts, including the fire at the preschool of the Ministry of Housing, with 89 children in their classrooms, aged between three months and three years, located in the municipality of Chacao in the state of Miranda.
- They also count the damage caused to the headquarters of the Attorney General's Office, in Parque Carabobo, and especially the viciousness with which some headquarters of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) were set on fire, killing several of its leaders.
- Intolerance against anyone who belonged to the popular sectors or was linked to the Bolivarian Revolution sparked and characterized guarimbera violence. This is the case of the children of Marlene Villegas, better known as The Little Red Riding Hood, who were savagely assaulted on Tuesday, April 14, in the municipality of Chacao, Caracas.
- The guarimbas located and focused on wealthy or middle class areas, governed by opposing mayors, kept their neighbors kidnapped in their homes or suffering daily viacrucis to get to work or study centers.
- The objective was to unleash a wave of violence and decree the ungovernability of Venezuela, in the search for foreign military intervention.
- Most of the victims of hate and fascist violence were people who had little to do with the political conflict, many of them bystanders or citizens who, trying to travel or solve an emergency, were cruelly murdered.
