Guárico Government is preparing celebrations for the tercentenary of Calabozo

The Government of Guárico is carrying out
repair, landscaping, painting, lighting installation and embellishment to
celebrate the Tercentenary of the city of Calabozo.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión, the celebration will begin with a solemn session, in addition to a
serenade dedicated to this Guariqueña city in which renowned llanera singers will participate.
The governor of the Llanera entity, José
Vásquez, said, “we will celebrate with force the Tercentenary of Calabozo, because of its historical
significance for Guárico and for Venezuela, because its people deserve it.”
Likewise, different sports
activities will be carried out, including the
Tricentennial 5k walk, the kickingball quadrangular, the basketball
home run and a great bike ride that will cover the main streets of the entity.
In addition, there will be a colorful parade on the occasion of the anniversary of this plain city, in which educational circuits and public and private institutions of the entity will participate; the blessing of water from Generoso Campilongo, among other cultural activities.
