From the city of Calabozo in the state of Guárico, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, assured that we Venezuelans have come to bite the dust of the defeat of the Spanish Empire with the liberating armies and “we have to honor the blood that flows through our veins, which is that of liberators”.

He specified that the Venezuelan people have come from resisting a major attack. “The worst we leave behind now what is coming is what is best for Venezuela, prosperity, growth, the future and hope for our beloved homeland.”

He pointed out that he has faith in the ordinary people, in the peasants, workers, community members, in women, youth and in Calabozo. “I put my faith in you! On July 28, Calabozo and Guárico are forever undefeated!”
