Guaidó and Machado: The fraud and manipulation of the Venezuelan extreme right

Since 2019, the Venezuelan extreme right leadership has only defrauded and manipulated its followers to sell them false hope, with the aim of trying to seize power and achieve accountability to their masters of imperialism who are used to tarnishing the sovereignty of the Homeland.

For this reason, in recent years they have used characters such as Juanito Alimaña (Juan Guaidó) and La Sayona (María Corina Machado) to sell pots of smoke, deception and make broken promises that have only served to strengthen the interests of North American imperialism, at the expense of the well-being of the Venezuelan people.

Juan Guaidó: A Failed “Leader”

In 2019, Guaidó emerged as the visible face of the extreme right in the country in a desperate attempt to overthrow the legitimate government of Nicolás Maduro, but he quickly proved to be another ineffective puppet of imperialism.

The extreme right wing sold the promise that “the cessation of the usurpation” was imminent and turned out to be another mirage, which was used to deceive opposition sectors and justify attacks against Venezuela.

This is demonstrated by the issue of the alleged “ humanitarian aid” and the operation of April 30, 2019, which were nothing more than an attempt at disguised intervention and which despite having the support of the United States and the European Union, Guaidó failed to achieve.

In addition, the issue of corruption due to the theft of the money of this supposed “humanitarian aid”, as well as the issue of Monomers and Citgo, demonstrated the true intentions of that sector of the Venezuelan right, which is to take what belongs to Venezuelans and Venezuelans from imperialism, and of course, they keep some other leftover than they give.

In addition, Guaidó's actions also contributed to the tightening of economic sanctions that have caused incalculable damage to the Venezuelan population, showing his willingness to sacrifice the well-being of the people in favor of foreign interests.

María Corina Machado: The New False Hope

Since 2023, with the story of the primary elections, which were held despite the large number of irregularities and little trust in the process, María Corina Machado, who according to the winner of the process, has anointed herself as the “leader” of the extreme right, promising the story of change, but with a new motto: “Until the end”, which only reaffirms another scam in that sector.

Machado, who is not new to politics, because let's remember that she, together with Leopoldo López, was at the forefront of the violent plans known as La Salida, has maintained a narrative of electoral fraud and delegitimization of the Bolivarian government, but she has never been able to present concrete evidence to support her statements.

In addition to her hate and violent speeches, La Sayona has offered no real solutions to the problems facing Venezuela; instead, she has promoted the privatization of the Venezuelan economy, including PDVSA, and foreign military intervention, actions that would only benefit the economic elites and the corporate interests she represents.

Without a doubt, all this only shows us that Guaidó and Machado, have proven to be tools of imperialism, willing to sell the country in exchange for power. Their failures not only reveal their ineptitude, but also their disconnection with the Venezuelan people, who have resisted and will continue to resist attempts at interference and destabilization.
