With the objective
of articulating efforts for the comprehensive care of Venezuelans
abroad, who are processing their return to Venezuela through the Great Mission Back
to the Fatherland, the head of this social program, Pedro Sassone, held a
meeting with representatives of all the Great Missions promoted by the Bolivarian Government.
During the
meeting, held in the Simon Bolivar Hall of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the
also Deputy Minister of Comprehensive Care for Migration presented
the vertices of the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland, as well as the challenges to be
faced to ensure the repatriation of compatriots and the reunion with their families.
At the meeting,
the participants evaluated actions to be taken, both national and
international, to establish the reintegration of returnees in the
Missions and Great Missions, on instructions from the President of the Bolivarian Republic
of Venezuela.
Last
June, the Head of State launched the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland for the safe
return of national migrants who
wish to return anywhere in the world, a social benefit policy that already existed as a program
and then acquired the status of a New Generation Great Mission.
It consists of four vertices aimed at legal assistance and identity to guarantee full law; comprehensive care in education, culture and sports; comprehensive socio-economic protection for the return; and, in addition, it includes a communication plan.
