Gran Misión Vuelta a la Patria articulates actions for comprehensive care for returnees

With the objective of articulating efforts for the comprehensive care of Venezuelans abroad, who are processing their return to Venezuela through the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland, the head of this social program, Pedro Sassone, held a meeting with representatives of all the Great Missions promoted by the Bolivarian Government.

During the meeting, held in the Simon Bolivar Hall of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the also Deputy Minister of Comprehensive Care for Migration presented the vertices of the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland, as well as the challenges to be faced to ensure the repatriation of compatriots and the reunion with their families.

At the meeting, the participants evaluated actions to be taken, both national and international, to establish the reintegration of returnees in the Missions and Great Missions, on instructions from the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Last June, the Head of State launched the Great Mission Back to the Fatherland for the safe return of national migrants who wish to return anywhere in the world, a social benefit policy that already existed as a program and then acquired the status of a New Generation Great Mission.

It consists of four vertices aimed at legal assistance and identity to guarantee full law; comprehensive care in education, culture and sports; comprehensive socio-economic protection for the return; and, in addition, it includes a communication plan.
