Governor Villamizar highlights massive participation of the people of Guayana Esequiba in the Popular Consultation

From the Hugo Chávez Por Siempre Commune, in Tumremo, administrative capital of the Guayana Esequiba state, Governor Neil Villamizar, accompanied by the deputies to the National Assembly (AN) Jorge Fuguett, Oliver Rivas and Pompeyo Torrealba, said that once again the People took center stage in a participatory democracy, where they are the ones who choose between a a total of 14 projects, and they prioritize them through voting.

He said that the popular government is the one who decides. “We are in a deep democracy, moving forward as President Delcy Rodríguez's politician,” Villamizar said.

The president stressed that the consolidated communes of Essequibo Pawik Tupü and Takupi came together in this great popular festival to crystallize projects for their collective well-being. “Long live the Homeland and long live Guiana Essequiba”.

Villamizar said that the national territory is having an electoral holiday this Sunday, the 18th, with joy and commitment to choose the projects that will transform the realities of each community.

He stressed that thanks to the policies of President Delcy Rodríguez, the people rule from the communes.

“In Tumremo, the administrative capital of the Guayana Esequiba state, the indigenous people came out very early to exercise their right to vote in this second National Popular Consultation; four voting centers opened their doors. Venezuela is reborn from the Essequibo, the people are in charge,” he said.
