Governor Velásquez: Participation shows the democratic and proactive nature of the Neo-Spartans

In the second National Popular Consultation 2026, this Sunday, October 18, in the state of Nueva Esparta, the 75 communal circuits that live in the island entity participate in the election of their prioritized projects, said Governor Marisel Velásquez.

Speaking to Venezolana de Televisión, he congratulated the extraordinary work of the presidents, table secretaries and community spokespersons, who made it possible to place the island region in the first place of organizational response in the entire country.

The deployment covers the entity's 11 municipalities, with 75 active communal circuits, 160 voting centers and 175 authorized tables, where men, women and young people over the age of 15 come to exercise their right to vote to select priority works and solutions in their sectors.

He added that each of the voting centers had a significant voter capacity, which speaks of the democratic and leading nature of the Neo-Spartans.

The island entity achieved 100% of the installation of voting stations in record time, leading the deployment at the national level. A total of 511 projects in the areas of public services, health, education and sports are being submitted to the election of the People's Power.
