The governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, stated that the entity ceased to be a guarimbas zone to become a territory of peace, thanks to the efforts of the Revolutionary Government, an environment that must be defended and deepened with the election of judges of the peace.
This was stated at an assembly held on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 27 in the territory to discuss the election of justices of the peace and the discussion of their law to take place on December 15 throughout the national territory.
“The peace we have has been won by the Mirandino people who have carried out actions carried out in conjunction with the Bolivarian Government. We won peace,” he said.
In that vein, he specified that “the action we are going to carry out on December 15 has to do with that, with conquering spaces so that our territory remains at peace (...) This election of justices of the peace falls on popular power, communes and communal councils and must be successful. We have the tool that the National Assembly has given us, which is the law and it is up to us to make it a living letter”.
