The governor of Yaracuy, Julio Cesar León, from the Independencia municipality, during the march to celebrate 2 months after the triumph of President Nicolás Maduro, pointed out that the victory of July 28 was heroic because it overcame the adversities of fascism.
“We have come to celebrate a heroic victory that, in the midst of the profound difficulties and adversities created by fascism, the Venezuelan people were able to overcome them and achieve the victory of President Nicolás Maduro,” said León.
He also argued that it was not only an electoral victory, but a victory over fascism, “because we knew his true face.”
“Here in this great march we are all generations, the forerunner, the founder, the middle generation and the young, to tell fascism that in every field we will defeat them,” he said.
For her part, María Perdomo, of the young generation, argued that the victory of July 28 was a victory of peace and the heroism of the people, of warrior and courageous men and women who continue to defend President Nicolás Maduro.
“Let us continue working for the welfare of our people, promoting the seven transformations that our president Nicolás Maduro has called us to, to continue with the legacy left to us by our commander Hugo Chávez,” he said.
