Governor Jhoanna Carrillo: The participation of the People in the 447 voting centers has been massive

This Sunday, October 18, the governor of the state of Sucre, Jhoanna Carrillo, assured that the participation of the People has been massive in the 447 voting centers to serve the 224 communes of the entity, referring to the second National Popular Consultation 2026.

He stressed that the voting process is quick and simple, “it's very practical and the tail doesn't last long, we verify which projects are under discussion in order to be able to choose, there are seven projects for each commune”.

The call mobilized Sucrense voters to decide directly on the proposals put forward by communal councils and communes.

2,105 communal councils participate in the entity and 224 community circuits actively participated in this consultation.

For the first time, the active participation of condominium boards was also incorporated into the entity. In Sucre, 1,567 projects are prioritized.
