The Comprehensive Care Center for Women inaugurated in Petare has the capacity to serve 120 women daily, which represents about 720 weekly visits, said the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano.

During the activity, the regional president explained that the campus offers cardiology, ultrasound, endocrinology, gynecology, general medicine, dentistry, psychology and psychiatry services. He also highlighted the installation of a state-of-the-art mammogram, which will make it possible to obtain an exact diagnosis for patients in the area.

Serrano indicated that this space is in addition to other similar centers already opened in Ocumare, Los Teques, the Carrizal Maternity Hospital, the Victorino Santaella Hospital and Domingo Luciani Hospital, in El Llanito. He added that they plan to set up new areas for women's care in the General Hospital of Los Valles and in other sectors of the entity.

The governor stressed the intention to extend the service to all jurisdictions in the region. “We plan to cover the entire territory of Miranda state with attention; we are satisfied with this center and I'm sure we're going for more,” he said.
