Government of Miranda rehabilitated water well in Santa Lucía

A water well was rehabilitated and handed over to the Cuin community of the Santa Lucía parish of the Paz Castillo municipality, a work that was carried out by the Capital Hydrology Company (HIDROCAPITAL), with the support of the Government of Miranda, the mayor's office and the People's Power.

According to information issued by the Government, this action benefits nearly 250 people in the community by generating a flow of two liters per second.

The rehabilitation of the well consisted of the restoration of the civil works shed, supply and installation of the pump, perimeter fencing, supply of the control panel and power.

The vice-governor of the Valles del Tuy axis, Lenín Sosa, said that the work was carried out at the request of the community, through the 1x10 system of Good Governance.

“The first recognition goes to Popular Power because without it there is no Revolution. The most important thing is that this work is not done by a company, nor by a manager, but by a Government that is married to the People's Power, to the head of the Street, to the head of the Community, to the territorial spokesperson and that is the key. Governor Héctor Rodríguez and President Nicolás Maduro will not rest until all communities have quality water,” he said.

For his part, the mayor of Paz Castillo, Víctor Hugo González, indicated that other projects will soon be implemented in the jurisdiction to improve water service for about 15,000 families in the Nogal, Mamonal, San Benito sectors, among others.

“All this effort to bring water to all communities is carried out with the support of President Nicolás Maduro, with the efforts of Governor Héctor Rodríguez and with the help of the People's Power,” he said.
