Workers from the Government of Mérida carried out the technical inspection of the educational annex “Lomas de Productores”, in the municipality of Caracciolo Parra y Olmedo, to verify the state of the work that was affected by the recent rains that fell in the state.
Jean Carlos Pérez, director of the Office for Integral Development of the Meridian Pan-American Axis (ODIEPM), accompanied by popular power, the structure of the UBCH, representatives of the education team and the body of engineers of the Mérida state government, explained - quoted by a press release - that during the visit, it was possible to verify the damage caused by the heavy rainfall of recent days and that they will be treated.
“We have been able to observe how the torrential downpours completely destroyed the spaces where school activities were taught, from the beginning to the 6th grade, but with the efforts of the organized community they have managed to make two temporary areas, so that the training process of the primary education subsystem can continue,” he said.
