The government of the state of Lara inaugurated the El Semeruco nursery on the Barquisimeto-Cabudare intercommunal avenue, whose production capacity is 12,000 quarterly plants and 40 monthly seedlings that will be delivered to educational and community spaces.

The information was provided by Yenny Sánchez, president of the Lara State Institute of Ecosocialism (INECOLARA), who added - in a press release from the state government - that the installed capacity projects a goal of 12,000 plants including forest, fruit, medicinal and ornamental plants.

He explained that “their greatest production is native forest in the state of Lara, which will be planted in the protection areas of the banks and upper basins of the Tocuyo, Morere, Turbio rivers and the microbasins on which they depend.”

The regional government, with the installation of the state nursery, has demonstrated its total interest in preserving aquifers and life on the planet, “in perfect alignment with the objectives of the Great Mother Earth Mission Venezuela a and the Chuquisaca National Plan 2026, consolidating environmental and sustainable development policies in Lara,” said the official.
