Government of Congo declares state of emergency due to floods

More than 360 towns and 36 districts were flooded in the country

The Government of the Republic of Congo has declared a State of Humanitarian Emergency due to the floods that have affected the population of the African country.

In this regard, the Government will provide an estimated fund of 4 million dollars for the emergency to help affected families in several departments of the Congo.

In this regard, local media reported that at least 17 people died, six are still missing, more than 360 towns and 36 districts were flooded in the country.

According to what was published by the Prensa Latina web portal, the rains will continue in the coming months.
