Government of Aragua inaugurates first stage of Sabana Larga Avenue in Cagua

The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio inaugurated the modern Sabana Larga Avenue, from Mariño Street to the El Samán residential area of the state's Sucre municipality.

The works, carried out together with local government personnel, were based on a vision of modernism, taking into account every detail so that both pedestrians and drivers of all types of vehicles have a high road artery. In total, 8,600 linear meters were intervened to benefit thousands of families in the southwest of this strategic town in Aragüeña.

During the opening tour, the entity's first civil authority was accompanied by Mayor Wilson Coy and the town. “To finish this modern avenue in the first phase, every detail was taken into account, ranging from scarification, construction of 1,200 linear meters of boulders and sidewalks, 400 meters of central island, 16 new poles were planted, 37 lamps were placed with the photocell system, tree planting, two pedestrian bridges were built, speed reducers were built in the school area, the Urban Terminal of Cagua was also completed, 1,800 tons of asphalt were installed, road signs, cat's eyes and striped lines were installed,” he explained Carpio.
