Government of Anzoátegui begins intervention on main roads with asphalting and lighting

The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, began the intervention of Santiago Mariño Avenue in the Guanipa municipality, as well as the installation of lamps on Avenida Jesús Subero in El Tigre.

The entity's first civil authority explained that a total of seven kilometers of the avenue will be recovered within the framework of the National Road Plan announced by the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro.

The work of the state crews will be responsible for scarification, removal of bases and sub-bases, the emptying of more than 4,000 tons of asphalt, in addition to the recovery and construction of new drains for water channeling. The works are expected to be carried out in a period of two months.

Regarding the installation of lamps with LED technology on Avenida Jesús Subero in El Tigre, Marcano specified that there are 600 200-watt luminaires over nine kilometers that comprise this road artery, which is one of the main roads in the Simón Rodríguez municipality.
