The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, announced the inauguration of the State Tourism Fair 2024 on September 6th. He explained that this is a day that will include the participation of more than 60 companies linked to the area of services, the hotel industry, gastronomy, airlines in the state and different parts of the country, which will take place at the Paseo de la Cruz and the Sea in Puerto La Cruz, Sotillo municipality.

“This third consecutive tourism fair, which is being held in the entity, seeks to advance economic agreements and alliances that promote investment in the entity. This year, the largest tourism event in the state coincides with the celebration of festivities in honor of the Virgin of the Valley, patron saint of eastern Venezuela, for which religious, cultural and recreational activities will take place, including the traditional rock,” said the entity's first civil authority, as described in a press release.

He added that Anzoátegui is “a multidiverse, geographically privileged state, in which we have made a set of investments backed by the president, Nicolás Maduro, to create conditions for development,” said the governor, recalling the inauguration of the Libertadores Square in Barcelona, the Caribe Park in Lechería, the José Antonio Anzoátegui Mirador Park in Ciudad Orinoco, among other works built to make the entity more attractive.”
