Through the social network Instagram, the governor of the state of Amazonas, Miguel Rodríguez, highlighted that they are carrying out actions to promote tourism in the state.

“We have two important operations: one for Tepuy Autana or Cerro Autana, and a group from the Czech Republic is traveling the Humboldt Route through Maroa,” he said.

He also announced that in the coming days, the Our Rivers Are Navigable Rally will depart from Puerto Ayacucho for the second time “and we must be prepared to welcome visitors with the human warmth of the Amazonian people”.

He noted that these actions are implemented to fulfill the fifth strategic line of the New Amazon Development Plan, which deals with the “consolidation of the new economic model and territorial concept for the strategic development of the Amazon state.”

“If there is something important for Amazonians, it is to promote and highlight the beauty of our beloved state of Amazonas. Not only because it fills us with pride to be part of the Venezuelan jungle, but because tourism represents the future of this land,” he said.
