Members of the Special Operations Group (GOES) participate in the Eighth Course on Remotely Piloted Aircraft (Drones), in order to keep up to date with the advancement of technologies for the defense of the Homeland.

According to information published on the Instagram account of this security force (GOES.OFICIALV), the course is taught by experts from the Air Command of the Bolivarian National Guard and lasts one month, “in which personnel will be able to train themselves with regard to the strategic management of drones, as well as to learn about the legal regulations that regulate the matter”.

The general commander of GOES, Col. Luseph Jesús Barrios Oliveros, highlighted the importance of preparing officials for the use of drones and thus strengthening the professionalism and training of staff.

“He also specified that in order to contribute to the defense of the Nation and preserve the peace, achieved under the policies of President Nicolás Maduro, it is necessary for the State Security Corps to advance hand in hand with new technologies.
