“We are going to be profoundly
forceful with every act of treason, whether from the inside or from the outside,
we are going to act very forcefully,” said the Sectorial Vice President for Political
Sovereignty, Security and Peace, Vladimir Padrino López.
He made this statement after the conspiracy facts that were intended to assassinate
President Nicolás Maduro and go through Esequibo territory became known.
Padrino López stressed that
these are not crazy ideas, “they are geopolitical analyses that we have been
doing from the General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB).”
In that sense, he argued that the traitors of the Homeland continue to lend themselves to calling for sanctions, military interventions and invasions, “but they are not going to succeed, we say from the Ministry of the People's Defense, they are not going to succeed.”
The Minister of Defense also read a statement rejecting all those vile, cheap, hurtful actions that seek to harm and fragment Venezuelan society once again
