During the last few hours, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized two rifles (AK47, AK103), 158 cartridges and 7 magazines, which were in possession of two members of the criminal group Los Pata de Goma.

According to military reports published by the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the arrested offenders were in the San Rafael sector, Sotillo municipality (Barrancas del Orinoco) in Monagas state, when they were captured in a joint proceeding between the GNB and CICPC officials.

The detainees were handed over to the Public Prosecutor's Office where a file was opened for them for illegal possession of war material.
