GNB seized more than 95 kilos of cocaine during vehicle inspection

Members of the
Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), stationed in the state of Zulia, managed to
seize 95,700 kilos of cocaine during a vehicle inspection procedure.
According to the information issued by this military
body, during the incident, 87 cocaine wrappers
were seized, which were hidden inside empty baskets, which
were being transported in a private vehicle driven by a citizen Eudo
José Gutiérrez; from the Republic of Colombia, bound for Santa Bárbara, Zulia state.
The uniformed personnel specified that the aforementioned citizen stated that he was accompanied by another vehicle, which is why patrol work was generated and found in a state of abandonment, at the entrance of the “El Peonio” farm, located in the parish of Santa Cruz, municipality of Colón, state of Zulia.
