GNB seized more than 27 kilos of drugs in three procedures

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 27 kilos 434 grams of drugs in various procedures carried out in recent days.

According to reports from this military component, in a first proceeding, uniformed personnel apprehended a citizen carrying 22,710 liters of liquid cocaine in the state of Barinas.

The drug was hidden in six automotive paint containers which were being transported in a vehicle from Colombia to Barquisimeto.

In a second action, the GNB carried out a search of a building located between 2nd Street in the Riveras del Torbes sector, Cárdenas municipality, Táchira state, where six packages of marijuana with a total weight of 2 kilos 430 grams were seized. For this reason, a citizen was arrested.

Also, during a package check at the “DHL” parcel company, located in the La California Sur residential area, Sucre municipality, Miranda state, the uniformed seized 2 kilos 294 grams of cocaine.

The drugs were impregnated in two hammocks that would be sent to the city of Hong Kong in China.
