Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized, in two procedures carried out in Falcón state, 49 kilos 271 grams of marijuana.

According to reports from this Castrese component, the first cache weighing 29 kilos 300 grams was detected, abandoned on the beach, while the uniformed personnel were carrying out patrolling and searching tasks in the Morrocoy National Park.

The second shipment, weighing 19 kilos 971, was also found abandoned on the shores of “Punta Brava” beach in the Punta Brava sector, José Laurencio Silva municipality, Falcón state.

Both cases were brought to the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
