GNB has seized more than 84 tons of drugs so far in 2024

So far in 2024, the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) has seized 84 tons of drugs, equivalent to 34% more than the previous year, said the general commander of this military component, M/G Elio Estada Paredes.

During the celebration of the 87th anniversary of the GNB, the senior military official explained that this achievement has been possible by working together with the Territorial Defensive System and the various State Security Agencies.

On the other hand, Estrada Paredes explained that the GNB, through the Military Community Brigades (BRICOMILES), has provided care to 2,137 health centers and 347 education centers.

In the same way, he explained that the GNB has made agreements with the Experimental Security University (UNES) so that 8,574 National Guards have been trained as senior technicians in terms such as: Public Safety, police service and research.
