GNB dismantles nine drug storage and processing structures in Zulia

The Strategic Operational Commander of the Bolivarian
National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), Domingo Hernández Lárez, reported that nine structural objectives used as facades for the storage and processing of drugs and trafficking in weapons, ammunition and explosives were
dismantled and destroyed in
the Catatumbo municipality of Zulia state.
“Venezuela is a territory of peace, our green areas will
not be used by TANCOL groups for their purposes, the
installation of structures associated with drug trafficking or
arms trafficking will not be allowed, those that are located will be legally intervened and destroyed.
Venezuela is a democratic State of law and justice where drug trafficking and organized crime are being fought
daily,” said
Hernández Lárez.
According to the CEOFANB press,
405 kilograms of drugs, a 12-caliber rifle, a 12-caliber rifle, an FAL rifle, an FAL magazine, 7.62x51
ammunition, 1,115 cartridges, an FAL rifle grenade, a 60mm mortar shell, bracelets referring to the FARC-EP and other logistical materials were seized.
