Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), after patrolling and searching, dismantled a clandestine laboratory dedicated to distilling crude oil, with the purpose of producing fuel by hand in the Mara municipality of Zulia state.

According to a note in the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the procedure was carried out in the El Campo Boga sector, belonging to the Las Parcelas parish of the aforementioned municipality.

The following material was seized and disabled at the site: 10 plastic containers with a capacity of 220 liters each containing oil, for a total of 2,200 liters.

For this case, there are no detainees; however, the military personnel are continuing the relevant investigations to find those involved and bring them to the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office of that district.
