GNB detected and seized about 2.5 kilos of cocaine in a package bound for the United States

Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) officers seized 2 kilos 418 grams of cocaine that they intended to be sent to Florida, United States, through a shipment from the company DHL.

According to reports from this military component, the detection of the drug occurred during the review of shipments from the branch of the said company located in the Indio Mara sector, Maracaibo municipality, Zulia state.

For this reason, a citizen was arrested who would be responsible for sending the above-mentioned parcel, and a vehicle and a cell phone were seized from him. This procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
