GNB arrested guarimberos and seized logistics supplies from them in 6 states of the country

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) retained, in 6 states, guarimberos and logistical materials used by them to provoke acts of violence and alter public order.

According to reports from this military component, in Caracas, 5 individuals were captured who obstructed the passage, using rubble and burning rubbers, through the tunnel of the Valley, towards El Paraíso.

The detainees were seized with 2 motorcycles, a gas mask, two miguelitos, seven Molotov cocktails and a cloth glove.

In Barinas, uniformed personnel captured 30 individuals who were closing Cuatricentenaria Avenue, El Cambio sector, in Barinas state, setting fire to burning burning rubbers, debris and throwing blunt objects at the uniformed personnel.

At the scene, two Molotov cocktails, two gas masks, 17 telephone devices, a mountain pass, a pair of gloves and a pair of lenses were retained.

In Mérida, 16 people were arrested while they were closing the passage through Universidad Avenue in the Libertador municipality and Centenario Avenue in the Campo Elías municipality, of that entity.

Those arrested were seized with 13 unexploded 12-caliber cartridges, 16 liters of gasoline, three bullets containing blunt objects, two masks and three handmade cannons.

In Sucre, uniformed personnel captured 15 individuals who were trying, accompanied by more than 100 people, to forcibly enter the municipal police headquarters of the state of Sucre, located on Panamericana Avenue, Urbanization Bebedero.

In Zulia, 5 people were arrested for obstructing the main avenue of the La Chamarreta sector, in the state of Zulia, with burning rubbers, debris and, in addition, assaulting the military commission.
