GNB apprehended a woman who was carrying more than a kilo of cocaine

Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) officials apprehended a citizen who was transporting, hidden in containers of moisturizing cream, one kilo 230 grams of cocaine, according to the strategic operational commander of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message posted on her account on the social network X, she explained that a citizen was captured while traveling in a public transport vehicle, coming from San Cristóbal, Táchira state, bound for Barquisimeto, Lara state.

“Venezuela is a democratic State of law and justice, in which the illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances and narcotic drugs is being fought daily. These are not Venezuelan customs, nor do we sow or consume and we will not allow them to be implanted in national territory,” said the senior military officer.
