Giant Chávez: Unity is necessary to defeat fascism

The unity of the People, the working class and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is necessary to defeat the oligarchy and fascism, said the Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, from the Teresa Carreño Theater.

“Unity with the Venezuelan People, with the Bolivarian Revolution, with Venezuelan Socialism , that is something truly fundamental in this historic moment. Look, imperialism does not rest, the oligarchy does not rest and will not rest in its efforts to stop this revolution, to overthrow this government. Comrades, comrades, labor leaders, leaders of so many movements, so many currents of the labor movement, notice, it's important that we focus on this conviction, on this idea, that we encourage it, that we strengthen it, basically a fighting spirit, radically anti-capitalist, anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist,” said the top leader of the Bolivarian Revolution on April 30, 2008.
