Giant Chávez: Let's fill the country with love

The Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías, called on the Venezuelan people to fill the country with love so that we can comply with the decree of the Liberator, Simon Bolivar, to achieve the happiness of the Fatherland.“I invite everyone, from here, the Community Councils, the mobile offices, you have to be seeds of love, flames of love, that multiply, everywhere. Let us fill this land with love everywhere, let us sow love everywhere. Love, love for nature, our history, our symbols, our flag, with eight stars, some walk around with seven-star flags because they don't know history, or if they know they don't want to know because they're full of hate. It was Simon Bolivar who decreed the eighth star, what we have done is to comply with the decree that was never fulfilled by Simón Bolívar and we are going to comply with Bolívar's greatest decree that he issued when he was dying, my last wishes are for the happiness of my country, we are going to fulfill that fully, the happiness of my country,” said Chávez from the Miraflores Palace on the 9th of October 2006.
