The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Merz, acknowledged that the military escalation in the Islamic Republic of Iran has a severe impact on European security, warning that the “undeniable reality” regarding changes in US foreign policy forces the European Union to redefine its own strategic and diplomatic strategies.

In setting his position on the development of the conflict, the head of the German Government expressed reservations about the war maneuvers and the lack of a clear exit route on the part of Washington, while admitting the resilience and influence that the Persian nation maintains in the region.

In parallel, mediators from the State of Qatar returned to Tehran in an effort to promote diplomatic rapprochement, coinciding with the exchange of correspondence between the American Vice President, JD Vance, and the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohsen Rezaei.

The authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran warned that they will respond forcefully to any attempt at military aggression against their territory, while international delegations intensify negotiations to prevent further deterioration of regional stability in the Middle East.
