The head of the General Staff for Transitional Camps, the deputy, Jorge Rodríguez, inspected this Thursday, July 9, the parking spaces of the Caracas Polyhedron where more than 300 people affected by the earthquakes will be housed in a dignified manner.

“We inspected the temporary camp that will be set up in the parking lot of the Caracas Polyhedron. We are working fast to ensure living, health and recreational conditions. We are still looking for spaces for new structures,” wrote Deputy Rodríguez.

Rodríguez indicated that this place will have optimal and decent conditions, small spaces designed for the privacy of each family group.

“Revising and building spaces in an accelerated way so that those people who suffered so much from the tragedy of the double earthquake receive the most decent treatment we can provide them with regard to housing, overnight stays, food, health, recreation and culture. Here we are going to build family spaces (...) there will be separations so that families feel a level of privacy,” he explained.
