GDC waterproofed 26 buildings in the Caricuao parish in Caracas

The Waterproofing Plan intervened 30,085 square meters of roofs, for the benefit of 15,300 inhabitants

A total of 26 buildings in UD-3 and CC2, in the Caricuao parish of Caracas, were simultaneously waterproofed by the work teams of the Housing Foundation (FUNVI) of the Government of the Capital District (GDC), thanks to resources approved by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, through the Federal Government Council (CFG).

This was reported by the head of the GDC, Nahum Fernández, in his account on the social network X, who personally participated in a popular assembly to show the results of Plan Gotera Cero.

“We will go ahead, following the instructions of our winning driver, working on the Building Waterproofing Plan to transform Caracas together hand in hand with Popular Power,” he said.

He explained that the Waterproofing Plan managed to intervene 30,085 square meters of roofs, for the benefit of 15,300 inhabitants of the point and circle.

“The works included demolition of deteriorated mantle, sanitation and construction of the floor, installation of microfiber mesh. In addition, the second and third layers of special paint were applied,” he said.

He added that “thanks to social investment, buildings are being guaranteed that will last over time, beautifying spaces and improving the quality of life of our people.”

At the assembly, Fernández received a telephone call from the head of state, who greeted the neighbors and expressed his commitment to the work of the Bolivarian Government.

“My greetings to the residents of Caricuao, which is a parish where step by step, doing a lot with little, but doing a lot to make everything work. My solidarity embrace to all families, we are working for Venezuela, increasingly energized and more optimistic about what we are doing and where we are going, and to make everything beautiful,” said the national president.
