This Tuesday, the Israeli army continues to attack the city of Rafah, in Gaza, after the brutal aggression recorded last Sunday that left at least 45 citizens dead in the Tal as-Sultan shelter

Telesur explained that Israeli tanks arrived in the center of the city amid heavy gunfire and air attacks that covered the ground incursion.

Witnesses said they saw a group of Israeli soldiers walking toward the western area of Rafah pointing at anyone who walked through the areas they were entering.

Around one million Palestinians have had to flee Rafah in the past three weeks, the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported.

UNRWA stressed that Rafah's displacement “occurred with nowhere safe to go and in the midst of shelling, lack of food and water, piles of waste and inadequate living conditions.”
