During Sunday night, there were intense bombings by Israel east of Gafaga, in the southern Gaza Strip, and then on Monday the regime ordered the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian residents and displaced persons.

In the run-up to a ground offensive, condemned by the international community, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on their social networks that, based on the provisions of the Israeli Government, “an assessment of the current situation will guide the gradual transfer of civilians from specified areas to the humanitarian zone”.

The IDF indicated that the “humanitarian zone” is the town of Al Mawasi, which was expanded and will receive more aid such as “field hospitals, tents, more food, water, medicines and additional supplies.”

The evacuation order, the IDF mentioned, is “temporary” and was communicated through posters, messages, telephone calls and broadcasts in the Arabic-language media.
