This Friday, patients in the children's ward of Kamal Adwan Hospital, located in the northern Gaza Strip, lost their lives after an Israeli military airstrike, Al Jazeera reported.
The Israeli Air Force carried out a selective attack on the oxygen station, causing a powerful explosion that partially affected the hospital building. “As a result of the attack, several children died and staff were injured.”
In the hours before the aerial bombing, a video was released from northern Gaza showing an Israeli tank firing projectiles at the Kamal Adwan hospital, one of the few medical centers that survive in the north during the Israeli army's ground incursion.
Previously, numerous surgeons were arrested by Israeli forces at the Kamal Adwan hospital, located in the city of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip, and “it is not possible to carry out urgent operations for the many injured,” said the director.
The director of the Kamal Adwan hospital, Hussam Abu Safia, said that there are more than 15 cases requiring surgeries that we cannot perform in the hospital and added that Israeli forces refuse to evacuate patients in danger or bring help.
