Gândola without brakes leaves two dead and 16 injured in La Yaguara (+mayor)

The mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, expressed her condolences to the families of the victims of the accident that occurred this Friday morning on the main avenue of La Yaguara.

The president said that at approximately 7:30 in the morning, a gandola ran out of brakes, so it dragged the vehicles that were at the red light and in traffic, thus leaving two people dead and 16 injured.

He also specified that the injured are being treated at the Dr. Miguel Pérez Carreño hospital , while assuring that the victims have the support of the Bolivarian Government for the required care.

The president highlighted the presence of the different security forces in the area and added that for now the roads are already clear.
