FVF and Liga FUTVE condemn aggression against Deportivo Táchira fans in Cojedes

The Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF) and the FUTVE League issued a joint statement to express their strong support and solidarity with the fans of Deportivo Táchira, after being victims of violent attacks in the state of Cojedes.

The incident occurred when the fans were making their way back to San Cristóbal, after having attended their team's match in the city of Valencia.

Below is the full text of the official statement:

The FVF and La Liga FUTVE, on behalf of the Venezuelan football family, express our solidarity with the fans of Deportivo Táchira who were victims of excessive aggression by people not linked to football, in the state of Cojedes, during their return to San Cristóbal after accompanying their team in the city of Valencia.

We regret the facts and reject all forms of violence, inside and outside the sports field, regardless of who exercises it. We extend our solidarity to all affected people and their families, and we wish them a speedy recovery.
